I have been a software developer practically since I could reach a keyboard.
I really don't believe that a programmer, a developer, should limit them to a single language. Because as long as you know what you want to do, the how is just a matter of research.
I've programmed in pretty much every single language since I started in 1985. However, one does have their strengths, and mine are geared towards the Microsoft infrastructure. Like VB, C#, SQL Server, among others.
Currently I'm self-employed, working from home.

Today I was attempring to create a SQL Server project in Visual Studio 2008, and even though the connection string was correct, the Visual Studio insisted telling me that the server didn't exist.
machine.config to remove the offending line.
